GSC ARCHIVES: MACY Q/A

In the world of street wear, individuality reigns supreme, and Macy is a striking embodiment of this ethos. Thriving in the model scene in this exclusive interview, we delve into her personal style, influences, and the intersection of fashion and identity.

Q: How would you describe your modeling style and the message you aim to convey through your work?

A: I would describe my modeling style as alternative; thankfully, the industry is more accepting of tattoos, and that’s the niche category I fit under. I love to feel sexy and convey my sensuality by seducing the camera every chance I get.

Q: What qualities or traits do you think set you apart from other models, and how do these contribute to your success?

A: I think the qualities that set me aside from other models is the fact I have red hair. There isn’t nearly enough sexy ginger representation, and I love that my hair color and complexion set me apart from everyone else. Being a natural ginger has really helped me stand out. On top of that, I’m heavily tattooed, and even though there is a big field for tattooed models, in general matters, it makes me more of a spectacle.

Q: Are there any quirky or unusual talents or skills you possess that people might not expect from a model?

A: I own a Harley, and ride as much as I can. I love any kind of motorsport; driving fast is something I’m ridiculously good at. Dirt bikes, quads, street bikes, sports cars, I get pretty reckless when there’s gears in front of me. I’ve surprised a lot of people with how down and fast I can get.

Q: How would you describe your personal style when you're not in front of the camera? Any favorite fashion trends or go-to outfits?

A: My personal style is very casual; I’m usually wearing men's cargos and a baggy t-shirt. I’m a Converse and Vans girl, low maintenance, skincare rather than makeup. I’m very relaxed and like to stay comfortable. But my other mood is the sluttiest in the room; I love to have my boobs out in a tiny top or my stomach showing, the more nipple, the better. Tiny top and big pants, or a big t-shirt and booty shorts.

Q: What do you love most about being a model, and how do you hope to evolve in your career in the coming years?

A: I love the freedom and liberation of being a model. I can pick and choose who I work with and trust my gut without a boss telling me who to shoot with or who to represent. I’ve met some of the greatest and most talented people in this industry. A little networking goes a long way in that too; I love to put myself out there for the world to see, and I think that will pay off in my favor.

Q: Can you describe the type of modeling work you find most fulfilling, and why it resonates with you?

A: I love doing any kind of sexually liberating work, any excuse to put my old Pleasers back on. I love being naked and showing off my tattoos; I’ve put in so much work with my appearance so when I have the opportunity to show how really shameless I am, I take that and run with it.
